1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the GUBER platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use GUBER.
• Updates: We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use equals acceptance.

2. OUR MISSION

To provide fair, equal, and safe opportunities for all people—regardless of background. We believe in transparency, independence, and equal access to opportunity.

3. INDEPENDENT USER RELATIONSHIP

GUBER is a technology platform, not an employer. All users act as independent contractors.

• Choose who they work with.
• Set their own rates.
• Decide how tasks are completed.
• Choose to accept or decline jobs.

Nothing in GUBER creates employment or partnership. Users handle their own taxes.

4. GUBER’S ROLE & LIMITATIONS

GUBER provides a connection platform, communication tools, and third-party payment processing. GUBER DOES NOT guarantee outcomes, train users, supervise jobs, or control pricing.

PER-JOB WAIVER: Each job is a private agreement between users. GUBER is not a party to that agreement.

5. FULL LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE

To the maximum extent permitted by law, users agree GUBER is not liable for injury, death, fraud, scams, property damage, emotional harm, negligence by users, or lost income.

RELEASE: You assume all risks when interacting with others and release GUBER from all claims.

6. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

GUBER prohibits ANY illegal services, including drugs, sex work, trafficking, weapons, scams, transporting illegal goods, trespassing, or "no questions asked" jobs.

7. SAFETY & CONDUCT POLICY

Users must behave legally and respectfully. Violence, hate speech, harassment, or manipulation may result in an instant ban.

8. NON-DISCRIMINATION

GUBER prohibits discrimination based on race, color, gender, identity, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or background.

9. FAIR CHANCE BACKGROUND POLICY

A criminal history does not automatically ban a user unless it indicates active danger.

10. AUTOBLOCK SYSTEM

Jobs involving illegal work, scams, violence, or exploitation are automatically blocked and may result in suspension.

11. PAYMENTS, FEES & TAXES

• Payments are processed through third-party processors like Stripe.
• GUBER does not hold money or guarantee payments.
• Service Fee (ex: 20%) may apply.
• No refunds for job disputes.
• Users are responsible for taxes.

12. DISPUTES BETWEEN USERS

GUBER is not responsible for disputes, cancellations, refunds, property damage, or disagreements between users.

13. PLATFORM MISUSE

Fake profiles, spam, evading fees, misuse of location, or off-platform payments may result in permanent removal.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You own your content but grant GUBER a license to use it for operating and promoting the platform.

15. SAFETY TIPS

Meet publicly, protect your info, trust instincts, and report suspicious users. Tips do NOT guarantee safety.

16. ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER

All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or jury trials.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by North Carolina law. Venue is Guilford County, NC.

18. TERMINATION

GUBER may suspend or terminate accounts for safety concerns, fraud, harassment, or violations.
